Magnolia Public Schools is an operator of several charter schools in California. Magnolia opened a brand new campus in the city of Santa Ana with capacity for 1,000 Students. Magnolia Public schools hired AlPunto Advertising to increase awareness of the brand and increase registrations to its new Santa Ana campus. The agency used localized marketing tactics to reach the right demographic.

Challenge:This was a very local and highly targeted approach, focusing on households with children that are school age. We needed an effective marketing plan that would increase enrollment at the Santa Ana campus.
Solution:AlPunto developed an integrated campaign that used local tactics. They focused on community outreach, door hangers, street teams and PR.
Results:Our street teams distributed 25,000 flyers within the areas that had a high concentration of the target, we placed 20,000 door hangers within the same area. As a result of these efforts 250 new students registered for the school. In the second phase, we also launched a PR and community outreach initiative that placed education related stories at local media outlets and partnered with local employers and associations. In the second phase we added 300 more students.
